James presents last years winner Jamie with the first ever Valkyrie Dangler Shield!
As anglers we all know the mental health benefits fishing brings to us.
Your support last year managed to help us raise a whopping £275 and helped us finish off the kit we need to take Veterans and Wellbeing groups out fishing.
Funds raised from this year's pot will be split equally between Valkyrie and the top 3 anglers.
The winner will also take home the Valkyrie Dangler Shield for the year and have the opportunity to add their name to it. In addition they will receive a day of expert rod and pole fishing tuition from licensed coach Ian Mcnamara.
Arrangements as follows:
Meet 09:00 at the Café at Wold View Fisheries to draw pegs. (Please do not arrive before 08:45).
The site has hot food and toilet facilities available and is accessible for people with disabilities.
It was good to see experienced anglers helping those new to the sport and for the winners donating back prize money to Valkyrie.
True sportsmanship and support won the day.
